Are your products gluten-free?
While we are not third-party certified "gluten-free" (yet), our products are comprised of only ingredients that, intrinsically, are gluten-free. We also produce them in a dedicated gluten-free room. However, they are not baked in dedicated gluten-free ovens, and we have not yet afforded to have them lab-tested for their parts-per-million counts. So, while our friends with Celiac disease have gotten along just fine consuming our products, we recommend that if you are supersensitive, you hold off for now. Just please check back with us periodically, as we have every intention of becoming certified!
Do you use other common allergens in your products?
Yes, lots. Our products are almost entirely composed of tree nuts, but also contain eggs; PB&J Thumbprint contains peanuts.
Are your products safe for kids to eat?
Absolutely!! We intend to offer snack-size packs, perfect for school lunches, in the near future.
Can I share these with friends?
Of course, but beware…your friends might eat them all!

Will you be releasing other sizes, flavors, and products?
Yes, yes, and yes!
"I typically do not care for Stevia, as I find it to have a bitter aftertaste."
Okay, not actually a question, but this is such a commonly-heard statement, we wanted to address it anyway. We only use pure, de-bittered stevia extract. The bitterness that you are accustomed to tasting in other products comes from the inclusion of multiple steviosides, rather than just the Reb-A stevioside, which interacts the least with the bitter tastebud receptors on your tongue.
What is erythritol?
Erythritol is a sugar alcohol, not to be confused with its less innocuous cousins: maltitol, sorbitol, mannitol, and xylitol. Unlike these others, erythritol has the following unique characteristics: 1) it does not elicit an insulin response, 2) it is fully non-glycemic, (meaning that your blood sugar will not increase), 3) it, like stevia, does not contribute to dental plaque, and 4) it is not absorbed by the gut, meaning that you will not experience stomach upset from consuming it.
What is Keto?
Short for a Ketogenic diet, or ketosis, "Keto" is a term used to describe a WOE, (Way of Eating), that encourages the body to utilize ketone bodies as its primary fuel source. There are numerous types of Ketogenic diets: medical Keto, modified Keto, cyclical Keto, etc., and our products are suitable for anyone, Keto or not. Historically, the term "ketosis" has been confused with "ketoacidosis," a deadly metabolic state, a myth which has egregiously been purported by even reputable sources. Science supports the truth, however, which is that Ketoacidosis, a state in which the blood concentration of ketone bodies is extremely high despite the simultaneous presence of extremely high blood glucose, (i.e., over 250 mg/dL). This state is achievable by Type I Diabetics who are not monitoring their blood glucose and ketone levels, but are consuming a diet consisting of substantial carbohydrate and fat. Other, rare scenarios in which a person can become ketoacidotic include:
Advanced cases of Type 2 Diabetes: in the later stages, the pancreas barely produces insulin anymore, if any at all
Type 1.5 Diabetes, (i.e., Latent Autoimmune Diabetes of Adults, or LADA): the person was previously diagnosed with insulin resistant-type, (Type 2), diabetes, but later in adulthood, developed autoimmune-type, (Type 1), diabetes; the two pathologies, combined, results in pancreatic damage that over time may manifest as the production of little to no insulin.
With all of this being said, even if ketoacidosis could be achieved by a non-diabetic, the limited carbohydrate intake, intrinsic to a Ketogenic diet, would likely disallow he or she from having sustained blood glucose levels over 250 mg/dL.

Why does your granola cost more than other granolas?
Well, there's a popular keto-friendly cookie out there that, by dry-weight, costs much, much more than our cookie granola does. And you probably already know how costly nuts are, in general. The majority of our products are comprised of nuts, so, between those, the grass fed collagen, and the free range eggs, the goods are expensive - no way around it. Add to that, the fact that our ingredients are non GMO, and some, organic, and you have a recipe, (literally), for high cost. Additionally, we hand-produce all of our products in small batches, so the tender, loving care that goes into each batch must be a factor. That being said, we do promise to offer discounts as often as possible, and to also work on getting the price down!
When can i expect my order to ship?
All orders will ship within 5 business days from the time of your order. We realize that this is a fairly long time, BUT your taste buds will thank you for your patience. We also thank you for your patience, and hope that, through your loyalty, we will soon be able to guarantee quicker fulfillment.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at the moment, but we aim to "go global" in due time.
What is your refund policy?
We offer refunds on any products sold, so long as they are unopened and untampered with. That said, if you try, and find that you are displeased with, our products, please provide feedback. Thus far, we have found that our products are enjoyable to even the most discerning of palates, but everyone is different.
Are your products available in retail stores?
At present, our products are exclusively sold online.
